Where Have I Been....

I know I should keep up with DA more. I do love creating manips. However, due to the massive amount of work I have been doing, it's nearly impossible to build up a lot over a short period of time, unlike a year ago when I was unemployed and starting my writing.art career.

A few people who have visited my DA page have commissioned me to do custom digital work for them.
I have also shipped my art out to a total of 24 conventions in the United States in less than a year. Thankfully the response has been positive.
So, not only am I selling prints, I am gaining clients for custom digital work.

Due to the contracts that I have made with them, I am not permitted to showcase my work for them on DA but only in my private portfolio.
It makes me a little upset that I can't show off, but business is business.

I've also realized that while I have not sold much on DA nor do I have that many page views, all it took was a few people to notice my work and pick me to do a commission.
So, yes it's been a very good year for me on DA!

I have added some new photography and comic pages as well as a photo manip for my sister that took me three months to do.
I have also helped to design tattoos for some friends of mine and I have gotten three new tattoos in the past four months. Two were of my own design and one was a cool picture I found online. All that stuff is in my gallery.

Now for the big news!

My first e-book is available. For the paltry sum of $4.00 you can read it: [link]

My first print book will be out in Spring of 2010 and my second book will be out in 2011.
I have also been asked to be a guest at three conventions next year due to my writing.
I have also been writing freelance articles and reviews.
It's a nice hobby and I have been doing fairly with it.

And the biggest news:

I got accepted in the Dragon Con Art Show for this year. I am the happiest I have been in a while. It's wonderful and satisfying to see the fruition of your work, is it not?

"douche bag" how original. An insult based on a hygienic product. Why not just call me "tampon" or "leg wax"?

And by the way nice reflexes. I made that comment on Jan. 30th and it only took you until March 28th to respond. :weed:

Oh, do you still want your banner ad? :chix0r:
:iconmorbidtracie:
I rather like the term douche bag. I have been using it before it was trendy and I ain't stopping now so stick that in your juice box and suck it.

Eh, leave my reflexes alone. Just email me the damned banner.
